OFJCC Specialized Trainer Kelly McGeoy challenges you to add Russian twists to your fitness routine in April. She shares her tips for doing them effectively, whether you are a beginner or an expert.

Beginners should do the exercises with their feet on the ground, intermediate exercisers bring their feet up with legs bent, and experts should hold their feet up and legs straight. For all levels, rotating once to each side counts as one rep. As the number of repetitions increases, break them up into sets throughout the day.
